About

Hi! I’m Matthew Braley and welcome to my Universe!

I love to ride and wrench on bikes, and I’ve been doing that my whole life! I also love being outdoors, probably because I was a Scout. These two major parts of my life have lead me to always seek them out in my everyday life, from wrenching on jets in the US Air Force to becoming a Electrical Engineer for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and building rovers. I have always sought the experience of the beyond and where few others go.

Thanks to my parent’s New England heritage and self-sufficient attitude, I have loved to learn all about outdoor survival, and homesteading life. I’ve learned to: garden, raise animals, hunt, fish, and DIY, or engineer, better ways to do them all.

My need to be outdoors and practice all these skills, even lead to RV’s and a want to engineer technology and electronics for camping to stay out in the wilds longer.

I now know that I must share these experiences with my family, friends, and others, and share the lessons I’ve learned, so that more people can love and protect the outdoors for future generations.
